Castle Conservatories

We have just had a large orangery built by Castle and we are extremely pleased with the result. This is a quality company with a quality workforce. The whole process went very smoothly and they kept us informed of what was going to happen with each stage of the build from start to finish. I would highly recommend this company.

Great company, tidy workforce & completed conservatory roof extension on time. Very pleased with the final roof& ceiling windows.

We are a couple of months late at writing this review, but we had to make sure that we wrote to thank Castle, after they did such a good job in our kitchen extension and porch. Throughout the whole process any queries were quickly answered by Tina and Paul, and all of the work has been completed to a fantastic finish, it is perfect. We absolutely love using our new room and we can highly recommend them! Thank you again!

Our orangery cost just under 60k picked Castle Conservatives ( who is also Linked with Astral windows) as was told they were a family business with 25yrs experience. I wish we hadn't. I will detail the facts so no one views this as derogatory or inflammatory and just plain FACTS. I don't want anyone loosing money or exp what we have! - build took significantly longer than specified never knew who or when anyone would arrive. - roof of orangery was meant to match roof of kitchen height. it's lower - wrong colour fascia fitted and we now live with grey and black combo! - wrong guttering fitted.we had paid extra for the one requested.

They make out they didn't know but take the money months earlier - screed floor cracked immediately on install - paid for another company to remove and fit as Castle stated normal and wanted to hide by tiling over. Private company brilliant and tiler employed excellent. - cracks in plasterboard pollyfilled weeks after finish. I could have done that but new wasn't settling movement - less than one year have cracks and lots of them above door, corners of lantern, plaster pops and horizontally across the broken sheet of plasterboard that was fitted and filled by them with polyfilla - roof lantern window smashed raining glass everywhere. my six yr old was playing under this minutes before and could have been seriously injured.

Chair fabric ripped on impact from the force of glass coming down heaven forbid if it was my 6 yr olds head! - have to chase them even when 6 yr old could have been injured and as the even bigger glass pane was sliding out of the lantern! Photos, video and email sent! - never initiate a response to your emails unless you chase and call - Note large glass pane in roof lantern started sliding out of lantern instantly following install but was ignored when questioned if correct as was seeing black tape on the edge - when they eventually sent someone the large glass pane wasn't resting on the clip to stop it sliding and falling in on top of us! - fibreglass roof paint chipping off in areas so can see white fibreglass sheet underneath.

This was originally patchy and finish raised by building control - seams on roof we're raised, cracking and lifting areas chipping.turns out gaffa tape used to seam. there goes 25yr roof lifespan as thought was correctly roofed! - refitted broken pane looks out of line again- more cracks appearing internally following this - the acco plastic drain they tried to charge us more for has never drained correctly. - fibreglass liquid applied thick and not sanded back today. Gaffa tape cut out and top coat painted thickly to try to rectify the bodge roof!

If anyone wants to see our photos or videos before using Castle conservatories please contact as I do not want anyone else to experience this and pay for something that isn't delivered as per contract. I have no doubt lots of amazing reviews will be added to hide this! In response: I can read plans can you? Structural engineer and surveyor you employed not me that's ur package. why do you not follow what was specified on the plan inc ceiling height of 2.4?, I can post the building control email for you if you like?

We are contacting building control!, why didn't Paul tell your contractor about the guttering paid for instal and colours? 12/7/20 email sent 10:27 AM immediately after it smashed, Why did we call you to chase you to make our home safe as you didn't ring us on 13/7/20,a t all?, Why does our chair have a tear, isn't falling glass heavy in chunks - skin and child's head is obs more robust?

Why do we have cracks less than 1 yr after construction? why did you come just weeks after finishing to polyfill the cracks and plaster pops? Why do you use gaffa tape for a fibreglass roof? Why wasn't our roof lantern fitted prop? Distressed you have no idea! My child screamed her head off. You have our money and we have a house with issues.why are you distressed? Please let me know when your above and beyond starts? See review from 2 yrs ago on google same issues and stance.

We chose Castle after getting several quotes, Paul & Tina have been very helpful and professional throughout, work commenced in april and all the teams sent in have been really great! All now finished we are really pleased with the end result, a good job done and looks fantastic. Thanks to all concerned, Alan & Sally.

We chose Castle in the first instance because they had built us a conservatory many years ago on a different property and we had been pleased with the result. The clincher was that they had a photo on their web-site of exactly what we had been looking for. An orangery constructed in red brick with plenty of large windows. Not surprisingly, the company had changed hands after such a long time but we needn't have worried.

Everything went smoothly from start to finish apart from the occasional short spell when a carpenter or tiler was tied up on another job. We have no hesitation in recommending this company because nothing was too much trouble for them and the fabulous end result is a credit to the whole team.

We chose castle Conservatories because we saw one of their models and liked it. The service was efficient and professional All the team were friendly and approachable, including the office staff. The site was tidied at the end of each day. Any queries were dealt with promptly and we were delighted with the end result.

Would definitely recommend Castle; they do what they say, when they say and are very professional, courteous and give a total service from the planning process through to the end. Their whole team of staff were all efficient and can be relied on. 10 out of 10!

Castle built our conservatory. It more than meets expectaions and was great value for money. Really high quality work. Very Friendly and skilled staff. Tina in the office always keeps you posted as to what is happening next. She is brilliant. Anything you need she sorts out straight away. I would happily use again for another project.

I am really pleased with Castle. The tradesmen were very professional and efficient. They respected my home and even though at one stage wheel barrows full of concrete were transported through my kitchen-no mess. The administration of the project was well managed and I was kept informed at each stage of the construction. I now have a fantastic Orangery and would not hesitate to recommend to other people.

Sorry it's taken so long to write this review, but I feel I have to say what a wonderful experience it was to have Castle build my orangery at the end of 2016. From the initial sales design to the tiled floor finish, I can't express how professional and curtious all of the staff were and I would not hesitate to recommend Castle to anyone! Keep up the good work!

Castle Conservatories are just the best at what they do. They made the installation of our Orangery Conservatory last month a stress free, pleasure. They used their own vans and work force. V reliable. I cannot recommend them highly enough. We had searched all over Surrey for the right firm for this big purchase and I am so pleased we chose Castle Conservatories. Bravo
