KCW Windows Ltd was formed in 1986 by Keith Evans to become a sole Commercial Dealer and Installer within Bedfordshire and surrounding counties for the Heywood Williams Ltd range of products which included Aluminium Windows, Doors and Shop Fronts. The Company operated from premises in Melbourne Street, Bedford, dealing mainly with Building Contractors, Builders, Surveying Companies and Local Authorities. As the Company grew Liz Peeling joined as Book Keeper and Accountant. Further growth resulted in KCW becoming Heywood Williams' largest UK Dealer.

The front door you choose reflects not only your own character but also that of your property. Here at KCW we fit a large range of residential doors constructed from either uPVC, aluminium or composite material all of which offer quality, security, durability, strength and amazing looks to transform the front, side or rear of your property.
The soffit board is tucked away under the fascia board and normally parallel to the ground. It is usually the board that you see most of from street level. The soffit can be ventilated to allow the flow of air into the roof area. Alternatively, ventilation can be provided over the top of the fascia board.

KCW windows provided me with a 10 year guarantee in 2018, which included PVC, glass & ALL moving parts, & dispite my efforts, KCW refuse to honour that 10 year guarantee, which I have evidence of, & dispite DGCOS trying to get involved, KCW still refuse to come out & honour that 10 year guarantee, & the reason is due to a previous successful complaint I raised to DGCOS, & now KCW are being spiteful, & will not honour that 10 year guarantee, which they very well know I have, I am now having to make complaints to an Ombudsman, & perhaps I might have to get a court order forcing KCW to honour that 10 year guarantee, there has been no communication from KCW & they have not replied to any of my emails or letters, & now I'm being forced to fight for my rights, if I were you DO NOT use this false, unprofessional company who will take your money, & then make every false excuses why they cannot or will not honour the warranty on your windows & doors.

First class service with excellent sales advice. A frendly and professional company with great customer support - no question to small! 5* surveyor, and 5* fitter, everywhere was spotless after replacing the inner porch door and side panel. A fantastic service from start to finish. We have been impressed by all the team at KCW from the initial quote, to the surveyors, installers, quality assurance team and finance team. Our unusual and last minute requests have been accepted without hesitation and in good humour. The standard of work is exceptional with everyone taking a keen interest in getting things right.
Our house was a tricky fit and it was clear early on that it was going to take an extra day from what was first estimated. Any other window company would have tried to have fit the install into the original timescale and bodge it but KCW were prepared to take the extra time to perfect a finish even if it cost them time and money. They even had a poor guy putting on pebbledash individually to make sure it matched the house's overall finish.

The only window company we spoke to who understood why an old house needed trickle vents and didn't try to talk us out of it! Thank you to everyone at KCW! We have recommended you everywhere we go.

Due to my day job working in construction over the years I am used to dealing with window companies and seeing the standards of work they produce. I decided to select KCW Windows for my own house as they were a local company who I hadn't seen before. Right from the start communication and advice was excellent. Even through these "pandemic" times it never stopped.
As expected due to the current times, it has took longer to get them installed. However the wait has been worth it. I live in an old victorian house and have had the original box sash (single glazed) replaced with mock sash double glazed which also includes tilt and turn for fire escape, so the replacement hasn't been like for like or as simple as double glazed out double glazed in.
The windows are of a very high quality and the workmanship of the fitters makes them that much better too. The finishing off externally and internally is of a very high standard and I could not of wished for a better end result. The one window that stands out for me is the bay window. I wanted to keep the integrity of the old looking timber structure so had the old sash's took out and infilled with double glazed windows rather than a completely new bay. I have attached 2 pictures of before and after which speaks for itself.

I have had new windows fitted today and I couldn't be more happy with them. From start to finish KCW staff we're friendly and professional. The fitters were punctual and did an amazing job, I'm sure my house was cleaner when they left than when they arrived. Best of all their prices are really competitive. Sales and customer service were great. Unfortunately the fitters were shocking. Very poor workmanship, had to get them back a few times to fix problems during installation. They left all the rubbish in the garden for two weeks, we had broken glass all over the patio where the old door they left outside blew over in the wind. Back door not fitted properly so water poured in when it rained so had to get them back again.
Tonight the side door they fitted would not close. KCW had left the office for the night. Luckily an Everest fitter was working down the road and he came to help. The door had not been fitted properly. All the screws were just hand tight an had not been adjusted or tightened. I know who I'd call next time!

This is the second house I have used KCW for. I had a conservatory fitted several years ago and have just had windows and doors fitted here. Everything went smoothly and very pleased with end result. Nothing is too much trouble and after care is faultless. Have recommended them to friends and family :
