I have recently had to contact Collingtons about my old UPVC doubleglazing. I knew I had some blown glass units and stiff handles. Their engineer (Mark) attended my property promptly. He assessed all my windows/problems and was very knowledgeable and helpful. I may have to have a couple of replacements but that will be separate. In the meantime I opted for them to service all my windows and replace units and handles where necessary.

This morning the service work was carried out (by Mark) and I am delighted with the outcome. So prompt, so quick, so professional. He has given me a lot of advice which should help moving forward with the project, but for now, I cannot fault the service work I have had done today. I was very nervous about addressing this issue, but my experience with Collingtons from beginning to end has dispersed any doubt. I would have no reservations about contacting Collingtons in the future.

We asked Collington and Company to replace a blown double-glazed unit and change the clear glass to frosted in a room that has been converted to a loo. Outstanding service. The engineer was superb and happy to explain what he was doing. Our house had very badly fitted windows and doors, we called Collingtons on recommendation. An engineer came out within a few days and made a detailed survey of what needed doing, had a quote back within 24 hours and the engineer attended the following week. The difference is incredible, everything is quieter and warmer. The engineer REALLY knew what he was doing, very professional and attentive to Covid safety concerns, . Will recommend very highly and will certainly use again.

They have been very efficient and quick with supplying the estimates for repair and replacement of blown double glazed units. The work was also done quickly and the prices are also very good. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Always good to use a local company and support the local economy in these difficult times. Full marks to them.

Absolutely superb company, I couldn't recommend them highly enough. Quality of product is first class. Fitted by skilled, friendly and helpful teams. Follow up service is also excellent!

Booked these people to come and quote. Totally unimpressed. He turned up 45mins early and wanted to come in whilst we were with another company. How rude! When he did come in, he kept saying he was early as had to get back for an appointment. Completely made us feel that we were an inconvenience to him. He all but said they didn't want the job. Told us that we don't want to pay 20k-25k and to ring a smaller company who would be cheaper.

He didn't bother to measure anything as he had no intention of going back to work out a price. Horrible man. No matter how much money I wanted to spend on a conservatory, I wouldn't give a penny of it to Collingtons. The only reason I gave one star is because I couldn't post my review with no stars. EDIT: Collingtons phoned after seeing my review.

They were completely bemused at the way we were treated by their surveyor and couldn't apologise enough. I appreciated their call and agreed for them to return to quote for the job so long as it was somebody else that came! To be fair, they treated us as an urgent appointment and arrived a few hours later to discuss our requirements. I have to say, in total contrast to our first encounter, they were extremely pleasant to deal with.

They were very friendly and helpful, explaining everything in detail and happy to answer any questions. I am glad they came back and very much look forward to receiving their quote. These are the reasons I have upped the rating from 1 to 3 stars. If I were to base my review on my meeting with them this afternoon then for sure I would be giving 5/5 but I cannot award full marks at the moment as I do not know the quality of their conservatories at this time. I will update accordingly in the future if/when it becomes appropriate.

Being new to the area,it was refreshing to find a local company that delivered exactly the level of service and professionalism that is sometimes lacking in much larger companies. We didn't have a large job that needed doing,but Mark was upfront and open on what was needed. His honesty and communication was bang on point. A credit to the company. I certainly won't hesitate in calling them again should we need their services again!

Excellent workmanship and superb workers who couldn't help enough and I would have no hesitation in recommending this company or their workers - you pay for what you get - and in this case we got more!

Highly recommend. They replaced all our windows and doors a few years ago and the workmanship and service was excellent. Arrived on time,finished on time and cleaned up after themselves every evening.
