FENSA stands for the Fenestration Self-Assessment Scheme. It has been set up by the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) and other industry bodies with Government encouragement in response to the current Building Regulations for England and Wales. When having windows and doors replaced homeowners must comply with current thermal peformance standards and ensure that they get a certificate of compliance from FENSA or from Local Authority Building Control.FENSA also enables companies that install replacement windows and doors to self certify compliance under these Building Regulations.

The worst company we have ever dealt with in our lives will never reccomenend them to any of our customers looking for UPVC! Not one apology from them at all in the entire process of them leaving us with a bent unsecure door that needed replacing. Granted they did not bend the door or make it unsecure but there job was to fix this door. From a household of joiners we knew our door fitted by fairdeal needed replacing sadly we couldn't as it's a new build and was still in warranty period. An out of hours emergency call out also reported back and said this door needed replacing.
But Carl who is meant to be the installation manger believed no it didn't need replacing and it was just the hinge's. Fast forward someone came out from Fairdeal a lovely man actually I felt sorry for him he took one look at the door and said the hinge's will do nothing! it needs replacing! this has been ongoing for atleast 3 months! Avoid like the plague!
But Carl who is meant to be the installation manger believed no it didn't need replacing and it was just the hinge's. Fast forward someone came out from Fairdeal a lovely man actually I felt sorry for him he took one look at the door and said the hinge's will do nothing! it needs replacing! this has been ongoing for atleast 3 months! Please read this please do dont get what i got from this lot! So i was looking to do some D i y i needed to take out old window ane put new upvc. Ones in really was a job to be done by me So i called them up and saud can you help. I need this size this size so on so on. So all went to plan i went down to the shop Payed all the monwy there and then in cash done happy days got told about 2 weeks till pic them uo from us ok cool Now.
The 2 weeks later come so i called. Them up. And said what time is it all coming in so i can pick up got told it will be coming in by 2pm ish Ok cool. Sweet Ha ha ha i went i got a email from them hello the windows glass the lot have been scratch and need to be fixed and there in essex im in kent madistone where it was ment to be going to there madistone shop.
But its in essex and scratch. Right thats a really good start not! So i called back asked whats going on took of ever to find out who i was what is a joke really. Iv called be for and email. As well ok mate So to get to the point. Iv now been told there still in essex and i will not get them today and there scratch. As well to top it off Got bit rude with me on the phone did not want to talk really then got told it will be monday the delivery to the shop where is was ment to be yesterday.
So i had. A bit of words with him And then the windows come the next day. Happy me. Till the band bang on my door hello got your windows. Mate me all happy about time hello here u go cool Right he said. The glass i dont have with me on the van. What where. Is my glass please dont know he said i call my boss So the reply the glass will be with you. Later.
That day. Amazing really was a not good start. After yesterday. Crap. The best bit the window frame. Was too small! What is going on please give me the wrong size and no glass please give me a break The glass did come about 5hrs latter. Not happy and will not refund me or help the frame s. Are all scratch. Not happy do do not buy from them its a joke really was and is a joke. And so so rude so rude dont want to help you. Rude and need to learn how to make the right size not happy. I will never go back to them!
