Alpha Windows

After much research i selected Alpha to fit double glazing throughout our house - mixture of new Windows and replacing all glazing in existing conservatory. I found them to be competitive along with the all important FENSA accreditation and insurance backed warranty (cheaper local companies didn't offer this) Install was good, the installers identified two damaged units during the installation and replaced both a few weeks later without hassle Overall very pleased with the friendly and convenient service received

I would not use Alpha Windows again if you paid me. They installed my upstairs windows a few years back and did an excellent job so I decided to use them again. This was a huge mistake! The first door turned up damaged so had to be returned. The fitting was appalling so we had someone out to check the work who agreed it was sub standard. Several weeks later second door arrived with no glass. Waited a few more weeks and the door turned up all ok!

Now 11 months on the lock will not work - called Alpha Windows on Saturday who refused to take my details over the phone so I had to log it on line. I was advised I cannot get a lock smith in as my guarantee will be invalid so I have to use one of their own guys. Ok I thought - I will wait. Just called to see what is happening as it is Wednesday and I am told someone will be in contact in due course.

Excellent so a door that is not secure and no date for anyone to come out and the advisor believed in her infinite wisdom this was acceptable. To say I am cross is a total understatement! Update after advising Chloe I had posted two negative reviews with in 20 minutes amazingly James called and texted me to arrange a visit the next day. James did turn up and I did mail Chloe to confirm I was happy with the work he has undertaken.

However please note at no point did I say I was very happy with the work just happy and I still do not accept a 6 day wait for a fitter on a front door that does not lock is acceptable. Poor show Alpha Windows and still no proper apology.

An all round great service and friendly staff. I've used Alpha twice now and both times they have fitted my windows to the highest standards. Any issues during or after installation were dealt with in a timely manner (sometimes on the same same day) and nothing ever felt too much to ask, as long you make good tea :) I would highly recommend Alpha Windows!

Called with an issue locking a door. Very prompt to book engineer. Came on time and fixed issue quickly. Good customer service.

Alpha Windows replaced all the windows and doors throughout our home, including our conservatory. The standard of service was first class. The installation team were prompt, professional and completed the task as per quote. After sales service has been excellent, dealing with any queries and questions efficiently. Having had a quotation, we wanted to see the type of window that was suggested for our older house. Small range of windows in the shop, knowledgeably explained. Polite and competent.

Mark and all the Office Ladies and installation team have been supportive through the whole choosing and quotation period. When it came to the actual installation, wow they know their stuff. 11 windows, one new window cut in and and a brand new set of French Doors all installed plastered and finished in 4 days is pretty impressive. Delighted highly recommend them.
