Major Glass and Glazing

We recently converted a cupboard under the stairs to a WC, but the window was sealed fast & wouldn't open. Major Glass were kind enough to reply even though the job was so small, and scheduled us in for a week later (it wasn't an emergency). When Barry came over he identified the cause of the issue immediately. He showed us where the mechanism had worn away & was failing, and removed the faulty part with no fuss.

He was in and out so quickly, we couldn't believe it. He was also very considerate and removed his shoes, without us asking! Would 100% definitely use again, thank you for your help!

Last July, work started on my house to build a double side extension, a single rear extension and a loft conversion. I hired a reputable company for the build who included window fitting in their costs, however, having known Barry for a very long time, I was always going to hire him to install the new windows, a new door and replace the existing windows.

I cannot fault Barry or any of his team, including Sam in the office, for their professionalism, their attention to detail when fitting the windows and overall work ethic. I would highly recommend Major Glass and Glazing to anyone looking for windows, doors and / or conservatories.

This review is a little late but. I first came across Major Glass when looking for somebody to investigate and hopefully fix a damp patch on our conservatory wall. The conservatory hadn't been fitted by Major Glass but Barry came out twice, both times after having worked all day! This was in January when it was both freezing cold and dark, and he did solve the problem.

When we decided to replace our windows and front door and also replace our glass conservatory roof with a tiled one we didn't hesitate in calling Major Glass. There was no 'hard sell' pressure from Barry to get us to sign up for the work. He did though offer useful recommendations to maximise the benefits of having a solid roof. Although there was a very small delay in the work starting due to the dreadful weather we had this summer I cannot fault the quality of the finish nor the workmanship of the crew. All the guys were friendly, professional and tidy. I can't recommend them highly enough. Well done and thank you Major Glass.
