POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE Ordered a composite door. Took two months from original order to fitting, not really a problem but after being fitted I noticed a fault on one side of the window surrounds within the door. I telephoned to report the problem and after a couple of weeks a 'rep' called and after looking at the problem said they needed to fit a new ' window cassette '.
He would order one. After about seven weeks the cassette had still not arrived / been fitted however I was still sent a letter telling me the payment was overdue! I was annoyed so telephoned the company. No answer so I left a message. I heard nothing more until four weeks later when the cassette was fitted. No problems with the workmen just the office staff.
Why do they expect payment in full for a faulty door? I wonder, had I paid upfront would I still be waiting? One telephone call to explain the situation that's all it needed, poor customer service.
