With a choice of styles and colours to suit any and all houses, high quality materials, and many different elegant window sections that can be tailor made to your specifications, CWL have the ability to transform your home. With the high security features of our products, it means you can have peace of mind wherever you are.
CWL provide a huge range of high quality doors in a range of materials, colours and styles. Door colours available include white, woodgrain (mahogany, rosewood or light oak), or wood grain on white. All CWL doors are fully reinforced with a minimum of 9 point locking systems with hench bolts for maximum security and are fully compliant with PAS23/24 insurance regulations.
Conservatories present your property with a whole new concept in living space, giving you an extra room that can be used for every occasion at any time of the year. Today's conservatories from CWL can be as safe and robust as brick built rooms, therefore opening up the area to many new purposes such as children's play areas, dining rooms, studies or breakfast rooms to name but a few.
Roofline and rainwater products from CWL including high quality guttering, cladding, facias and soffits for all requirements. Each rainwater system is co-extruded with a white interior and a range of exterior colours. Widely published test results show that while a white surface exposed to sunshine can absorb heat and attain a surface temperature 10oC or more over the air temperature, dark surfaces can rise a further 30-40oC and exceed the softening point of the PVC.On large capacity gutters with a large surface area facing the sun, this can be a particular problem.

It is in your best interest to avoid this company. After numerous telephone calls/emails & letters to them they choose to ignore you and do not pay their outstanding debts. No doubt at some stage they will re emerge under a different name. How do you sleep at night knowing you are taking peoples hard earned money. Shame on you!

The customer service from this company is beyond poor. Take your money and then give you every excuse imaginable not to complete the works as agreed, no returned calls as promised, told one minute that there was a supply issue, next thing the items were ready and then complete silence from them. I have requested a refund from them as they have defaulted on our agreement and I will go elsewhere. Tip of the day. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Having finally got my deposit back, thanks to the intervention of my bank, I thought I had heard the last of these incompetents - but no! Today I got I phone call from the salesman just to check that "everything had gone well and that we were happy with the installation and our new windows" Unbelievable!

Be aware if you think you will get any work done here. When you phone them they will tell you that no one is available but someone will get back to you. Sadly no phone calls returned for months. Taken deposit in Aug 21 now April 22 no windows no doors still waiting for deposit to be returned! Susan says she does not have authority to give refunds but can take deposits. Big Boss in Portugal and internet is very poor over there so please wait a few days: lol em still waiting. Good luck if you use this company. Trading Standards here I come.

I echo all the other 1 star reviews. Take your money. Drag the job on for months Endless excuses Fail to respond to mails Fail to return calls. So sorry we ever got into bed with this lot. Special 1 star mention to Susan Moffat the director for her ignorance in responding to customers who paid money in good faith. I suspect they have major cash flow issues are are robbing Peter to pay Paul and are minutes from going bust. Think about that when they ask for your 10 grand deposit.

I've increased the review I was going to leave from 1 star to 2, purely because the people being sent to customers homes are not the issue, everything else is. 18 months of chasing, we finally had our issues (yes, multiple) fixed. Sure, you can blame Covid for some of that time, but not all. The customer service you receive from their office is ropey at best, depending on who you speak to, depends on the response you will get, and Michelle (who's new apparently) leaves a lot to be desired, if she doesn't know the answer, she threatens to hang up.
Or she'll make up the answer. Michelle isn't the only one. You'll get people who will promise you the world and deliver nothing. Susan - the company director - is narcissistic. A word, I wouldn't use lightly. She blames everyone or everything else with refusal to take any personal or company responsibility. She refutes on agreements. She leaves sarcastic voicemails.
She comes across as genuinely believing her company is fantastic (check out all the other reviews, we aren't the only people with issues). She also raises ethical questions, happy to send her workers to customers homes, over allocating them jobs with no care to a personal work/life balance. No care that they will get home at 8/9pm at night. Overall, If you need any window or glazing work completed, avoid this company. Please, save yourself the headache that others before you have had to suffer.

I was about to write a review of my experiences with this company only to find that they have already been written! Like others I have been waiting for months and like others I have suffered from non communication, broken promises, missed appointments and some of the most pathetically poor excuses - "can't get the frames, can't get the glass, can't get the installers" and most recently "can't get fuel"!
The day I was told this last one, I had passed the petrol station at Heathhall twice (the nearest one to Cathernfield) and they were busy but there were no queues. So they cannot even fabricate stories! The Director I managed to get on the telephone has promised me twice to make arrangements for a refund but - surprise - nothing has yet happened. Perhaps they don't have any? I am referring my case to Trading Standards, to Visa Debit Card and to anyone else I can think of.

I very much regret picking this company to install a couple of replacement windows in my house. The installation was carried out - late - after a couple of broken appointments. During the process most attempts to contact them ended in failure. They didn't reply to emails and phone calls were not returned as promised. They did telephone me when they wanted payment.
However after receiving the second interim payment they didn't sent an invoice or a receipt for that payment until after a number of calls and emails requesting these. After completion they sent a final invoice for a significantly inflated amount as they chose to ignore one of the interim payments. Their time management is incompetent. Their book keeping is poor. Their communications ability is virtually non-existent. In short they are a huge hassle to deal with.

CW have installed windows into two of my properties and I've been impressed with all aspects of their business. Steven Moffat is efficient, knowledgeable and personable. The installation guys do a good job - tidy and quick: putting the windows into one property in a blizzard! They've also been happy to sort problems with a door installed by someone else.

CWL Started the installation of 6 windows on 03 October 2018 they promised to come back to finish the job on 5th or possibly 8th October 2018, it is now 5th November 2018, despite many promises the job remains in a unacceptable state, you don't have to take my word for it, Look at the photographs! Finally The Job Has Been Completed, Today 9th November 2018.

Highly recommend this company from the Sales Team through to installation and afterwards. Due to bureaucratic red tape it took over two years to get the windows and doors, I wanted, installed in our wee house situated in a conservation area and only after I wrote to the head of planning in Dumfries and Galloway receiving some useful advice did it become possible to proceed with finalising the order.
I had spoken with several companies who were of little help, Steven Moffat of CWL was the first and only rep who seemed to understand the complexities of living in a conservation area and fully supported my wish to get planning permission before proceeding with installation. I mention this because there were others who advised I just go 'under the radar' and install without planning permission.
Roll on two years plus and an unbelievable amount of red tape to be dealt with, which, without Steven's help, I would have found very daunting and been overwhelmed with, the windows and doors were installed. The installation team were very professional, tidy and quick workers. Steven visited to check we were happy with the work and the final look of the house and indeed we were.
I cannot thank Steven enough for the level of practical help and support he provided to navigate the complex requests of planning and other official bodies. We were not a big order in the scheme of things but we received excellent support and service over what was somewhat of a bureaucratic marathon to get the final product and finish I wanted for our wee house.
Thank you all at CWL. Attached are some before and after photos. Oh and as a final note it's not been a year yet since the installation and we've already saved over 400 in fuel costs. Gillian McGown. Seems to have been an issue with my photos and only the before have come up.
